Another Ebay Treasure
This seems to be the week for ebay items on interest. Here is a magazine ad from 1961 about the Taum Sauk Plant. Wonder where those kids are today, they would be about 50 years old.

You asked about the kids. No, I'm not one of those pictured, but I visited the completed plant shortly after it opened in 1963. I was 7, and on geology field trip out of St. Louis.
Been back many times, including spring 2001, until they shut public acces down in fall of 2001.
