River Reports

Kevin Perry, the editor of ExperienceBlackRiver.com just stopped by the pottery. He said he had posted an article about his last 24 hours in Lesterville. Just checked and he had some nice things to say about the pottery. Yesterday he took a six hour float/fishing trip that started from the Middle Fork low water bridge. Kevin said that below BRL there were spots where he could see the bottom in about four feet of water. I also saw an old friend that has a cabin on Hyatt's Creek road on the other side of the river from Camp Taum Sauk. He also said he was please at how the river looked from his cabin. So maybe the high water of last week did some good cleaning. The East Fork at Highway 21 near Twin Rivers still looks cloudy.
