River Report

It has been over a year since the river was this high. For those of you fimiliar with the BRL area the water is flowing over the ground on the east side of the river where the old bridge stood. There is no beach on the lodge side. However, the river is not high enough to get out of its banks and cover any of Peola Road. At Riversedge Campground it would have to come up another 18" to 24" before it started over the road. So let's hope that by next week when its back down it have cleared up a little.

My family has been coming to Lesterville to camp along the Black River for probably 30 years, some longer, some shorter. I think your website is great b/c it's nice to have someone reporting who actually lives along the Black River. I'm just curious as to how you think Riversedge will be looking by Memorial Weekend?

The new owners have had a large crew working on the grounds and buildings for about six weeks. Think you will find it is great shape.
