Black River Businesses

In early February I posted a link to a news release about a claims office that had been set up by Ameren at Wilderness Lodge. I did not avail myself of this offer because I felt that my pottery business would be just fine this summer. Over the weekend I received an email from a local businessman that makes me believe that Ameren offered low interst loans to area businesses that felt they were going to suffer reduced business this summer. I'm sure that many of the businesses were expecting an outright grant for their losses. The soap opera continues!
