The Big Winner
Many of you purchased a raffle ticket for the "Relay for Life" old bridge table over the past summer. We had the drawing today and the winner is Rose Loehr of St. Louis. Congratulations Rose and thanks to everyone that helped support the American Cancer Society.

Happy Labor Day.
I just wanted to let you know, that as a BRL lifer (I have been going to the lodge since early childhood) your blog has become a part of my daily life. In some way it connects me to the goings-on of a place I hold deep in my heart. I vote that you keep the blog going for as long as you can. Maybe I am fulfilling some deep seated wish to some someday live in the area by seeing life thru your eyes. Thanks for all the "blogs".
