As of last night over 1,000 people have visited this site since December 25. Thanks for your interest and concern over the Black River and the Lesterville area. There have even been site visitors from the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Romania, Spain, Australia, Isreal, Portugal and Tiawan. As long as I can find news, good or bad, I will post it. No Thank you, for giving us all the information about the river. My son and a friend drove down from Girard, IL about 4 weeks ago to see the damage and find a place to camp this summer. I am sure we will be back muddiver
Yes. Thank you. I am from Virden, IL which is just a few minutes from Girard, IL. We come down to Lesterville at least 3 times a Summer. Your website is about the only place I am finding good, up to date information. I appreciate it.
